“I have chosen Hospitality and Tourism Management as a major since I am a person who likes to be around people and in contact with people. In addition, I like to travel from one country to another and that is the only major that could offer such kind of an opportunity. I have chosen the University of Balamand, first because the School of Tourism and Hotel Management at this University has great reputation and second because the university is close to my residence place.
I have graduated from The University of Balamand in February 2012, I did three trainings, the first one in Movenpick Hotel and Resort Beirut in the food and beverage department in 2009 , the second one in Movenpick Hotel Doha in the Rooms Division in 2010 and the third one in Front Office department in 2011 in Intercontinental Doha . In addition, I have worked as HR officer in Movenpick Doha from April 2012 till July 2013. Currently, I’m working at Habtoor Hilton Beirut since November 2013 as receptionist and as night auditor. In the future, I see myself as general manager which is the dream of every hotelier and as they say “the way of thousand miles starts with a step”.
