The University of Balamand offers partial or full financial aid to

eligible students whose financial situation cannot cover educational

costs. In 2009-2010, financial aid totaled $4,469,000:

$3,599,000 in direct aid and $870,000 in the form of graduate

assistantships and student work.

Reduction of the Tuition fees

The USEK’s direction has defined seven categories of students eligible for tuition fees’ reductions (no reduction can be applied on the registration fees). These categories, the reduction percentages, the period during which the student has to file his demand to the Social Service Office are all detailed in the following table. It is worth mentioning that the defined reductions can never be applied to the first payment of each semester.

The office of Social Services is responsible for coordinating various student services including promoting their interests and well-being and to better plan ahead. The students confidentiality is always assured.
